소개

   The purpose of this study was to develop a digital textbook on hormone and homeostasis regulation based on convergence learning model. The iBooks Author was used as the authoring tool to develop the digital textbook with several widgets and programs. The developed digital textbook are consist of 8 sections : ‘homeostasis maintenance’, ‘negative feedback and siphon principle’, ‘making a simple toilet’, ‘designing creative products applying negative feedback principle’ as convergence design process, ‘making creative products using 3D printer’, ‘making creative products’ as convergence creation process. It turned out that the digital textbook was shown a positive effect on biology learning. Students’ responses was shown that the digital textbook help them to brainstorming about creative designs and products related to biomimicry convergence. In addition, learning with the digital textbook was possible to promote students’ interest and self-directed learning on biology. The results of this study were probably provided a learning content related to liferelated and creative convergence program in biology classroom.
